This blog revolves around my general views*
or musings about the industry I'm part of : the media, the processes, the gadgets, the software, techniques and digital creativity.
I started in marketing services around 22 years ago and got to play about with some early(ish) PCs.
I'd coded a bit in Basic on my Psychology degree and my first job involved creating marketing databases with dbase and Foxpro.
We shifted info about on floppy disks or huge big mag tapes and things were a bit clunky. Even then I knew it was clunky - being a nerd I had specs that could see into the (whoa) 21st century.
I moved away from data marketing to be a project manager of marketing services and then moved into online proper in 1998/99.
I'm still geekily giddy about the interface between technology, creativity and marketing.
