Mutt Philosophy

I was out in the garden last night with the dog, she was have her last pee of the night and as I sometimes do, I joined her.
So, there I was looking up at the stars thinking how humbling the experience of urinating under the gaze of the universe is.

The dog was more pragmatic and ignored the constellations above her. She seemed to be saying "don't get hung up in the silent, cold vastness of space and our insignificant place in it, it's what's inside that counts" -
and for her, that's a bowl of biscuits and a warm bean bag ;-)

Beastie Blog

I took Joe and Esther_next_girl_next_door to see Beastie Boys at The Manchester Arena.
Or rather, they allowed an old fella to tag along and get some hip hop beats. Good set with lots of old tracks and a great blend of DJ Mix and live instruments being pulled in for a really phat show (I think that's a cool expression to use?)

toddler terrors

I was laughing at a news item just now about Britain’s youngest ASBO (kind of) who has been expelled from nursery and Anita reminded me that me and Garry (Gaz and I) were expelled from nursery when we were in Cyprus... hyper twins .. Dad told me last time we went to visit him and I'd subsequently forgotten.. and would probably forget again if not blogged now in quick time ;-)
