Cornish karma catch-up

5 days into our Cornwall holiday and its been sunshine all the way. The pattern is rain at night and sun / cloud at night - easy to live with :-)

Aah, minor bickering amongst the juniors has broken out.. We're back at base camp after a morning at the tattoo convention which is the brits at a theme park. They are tired and Ronan is a bit bored and trying to cheer himself up with his own brand of family directing.

At least no talk of ailments in last 30 minutes - we do a good line in pain spotting, or I do and the kids have taken up the cataloguing baton (much to Anita’s disquiet.)

Sunburn, sore backs, grazed elbows, headaches.. All detailed daily round the camp table.

My (very real and now very unfunny) lower back pain has made me get up very early a couple of mornings, though it precipitated a walk to a local cove at six  thirty to sit and watch the waves and the sun come over the headland.
Beautiful and relaxing and slightly spooky as deserted beaches can be.

I tried to summon some seals or dolphins in the way my current piscean-centric spiritual nonsense book suggests. Didn't happen but saw some gannets and friendly sparrows on the farm road on the way back, so cool.

I miss my dog a lot and feel very guilty putting her in a kennel so I can go relax and enjoy all this Cornish spiritual beach watching. No wonder the dolphins kept away, I is a bad man. Need to do Some nice things (like cook tea for everyone) and try to get some good karma back.

How many points for bbq for 5? How about if I just have water and not beer? And wash up?

Then we get dolphins in the bay? Hmm?
