Lest I Forget

notes from a midlife muser - grabbing those thoughts before they turn to memory mush

May 10, 2004

After drama group tonight I went to the pub and Angela joined us. She used to do drama but left a while back, which is a pity - I liked her centred, calm approach to getting into a role. Anyway - she told me Rachel (her daughter) has had a run of epilepsy and we spent a while sharing views... my nocturnal catalepsy isn't anywhere near as scary / debilitating but I want to same consultant and had similar tests done a couple o years ago so I hope I helped alleviated some of her worries on that score. I didn't realise Rachel was 22 and doing an M.A post-grad course until last week. When I last saw her I'm sure she was about to star college! Time and its acceleration with age, collapsing viewpoints and all that. Jeez.
