Brotherly Bollow

mooching over at Friends Reunited and Garry (older brother, but its only 20 minutes, alright?) has a new profile.
Nearly wet myself with this:

which is how I met my seventh wife, with whom I trained as a pastry chef, establishing the first bionic bistro in Moldova, which is where I learned the art of cello whispering.

migraine mumblings

I had an unexpected migraine over the past couple of days. I don't know, shoddy wiring and now a reminder of less than perfect circulatory system (in my brain anyway).
Can't even thank excessive alcohol for it as I hadn't been drinking. It may have been related to an over enthusiastic weights session - I need to look that up on the web.

333 post

I have this recurring thing with the number 333 which started a few years ago.. to my mind about the time my Mum died...
Anyways, it pops up in lots of situations - significant / noticed times , records in a database I'm looking at, exact mileages to places, raffle / lottery tickets I get, my voters number for local elections ... the list goes on.

The last occurrence was yesterday.
I was looking at a bulletin board about Dublin (posts related to places to eat etc) and the number of active conversations at the time I logged in was … you guessed it.

Question is : is this a spooky message from beyond (if so, how does that work – how can the ancestors influence not only printing processes but digital clocks, bulletin board counters etc etc) , is this coincidence or; is nothing at all other than me noticing a pattern once and subconsciously looking for 333 everywhere?

No answer - I just put that out there. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS
It's Anita's 40th and we're going down to the pub soon to celebrate with as many local friends who can make it.
And on a school night, who says 40 something's can't be Rock n Roll? I'm typing this listening to Queens of the Stone Age - that's Rock n Roll baby. And I'm not even 40 myself yet.
So off to the pub for some real ale. Pubs on a darkening Autumn evening are great places to be. I'm sure tomorrow morning will be a different thing though.

BIG time tremors for all:
we are having a new building put in at work and part of the process involves a huge pile-driving crane. It's forcing steel plates down about 30 foot into the ground, not hammering them down but slowly pushing them in. Which causes massive vibrations in surrounding buildings. Everyone's getting freaked by the buzzing/vibration feeling coming through their feet or through their desks.
Me? I'm bizarrely chuffed - I'm saying 'That's what its like. that's what I feel most days.'

the crawl hour

Crawling to work on the Motorway this morning and I realised that I am getting old because, rather than madly dart in and out of the lanes like the bandanna (didn't that fade out with Guns'n'Roses?) wearing boy in the Xr3 (with stupid fog lights on) in front of me, I stayed in one lane.
And, guess what? I got to the turn off ahead of him.
