Foo king great night
Chuckle - Bad blog title but a very good night.
I took Lian and Joe to the Foo Fighters gig at Manchester Arena on Saturday night.
Not being child-ist either - I can say 'took' as I shelled out the dosh for the tickets, the drinks, the badges, the poster and the BIG bag of M&Ms we ate in the car on the way back - rock on baby!!
Thinking about it, I coughed up for the hair dye also - Lian's Purple and Joe's 'foxy red' - both looked the full rock kid.
Money well spent though (I sound very Yorkshire) ....
Dave Grohl was a great front man, very chatty with the crowd and thumping tracks played with obvious enjoyment.
Bit thrown by the couple in front of us with opera glasses though and the foursome wearing suits and jackets.
Loud, fast and thumping - I forgot what ringing ears feel like.
